NEVIS CYCLE & TRIATHLON CLUB

TNCTC members join the global RIDE OF SILENCE movement for the 4th year,11 riders met at 5.30pm in the centre of Charlestow for the annual Ride of Silence. It was a much smaller turnout than last year, but no less poignant or effective. The group started at 6.00pm and rode in complete silence through the centre of Charlestown for 1/2 an hour, completing 3 loops of the town, a total distance of 6km. The caribbean region has recently lost a number of cyclists and they rode in solidarity and recognition of their deaths, the message to the motorists of Nevis very clear 'SHARE THE ROAD' we are all human beings.
