Andy Brear ran a blistering pace on sunday to claim 3rd place overall in the 5th annual Church Ground Run, with a very fast time of 47:38 this was Andy's best result in this event and the fastest he has run in the last 10 years. A veteran long distance runner with a number of marathons to his credit, his best finish being 3;01 in Boston, Andy seems to have found new leg speed as he matures. Future plans for this athlete and his half-ironwoman wife Wendy, is to run a marathon on each of the worlds 7 continents over the next few years, starting with the Quebec Marathon in August this year, where Wendy will run the half marathon, and in November both of them plan to run the Barbados Marathon.
