Course description

The swim course
The swim will take place at Oualie Beach. There will be a beach start following a simple triangle format, two laps for the Olympic distance swimmers and one lap for the sprint. On completion of the swim competitors will run along the Bay front for approximately 60 meters to the transition area. The bike course
The bike course consists of a mainly offroad lap of 16km. Two laps for the Olympic distance swimmers and one lap for the sprint The run course
The run course consists of a mainly offroad lap of 4km. Two laps for the Olympic distance swimmers and one lap for the sprint

Transport

Please advise us of your arrival time in St Kitts, where you will be met and taken with your bike to the ferry for Nevis, and once on Nevis on to your hotel, we will also need your departure time and date so that we can efficiently arrange your departure (there is an EC$54.00 or US$20.00 departure tax payable at the airport)

How to get to Nevis...

From the U.S., Canada and Europe, there are four primary gateways to Nevis. The most common route from the U.S. and Canada is through San Juan, Puerto Rico. It's now possible to fly non-stop from San Juan to Nevis on direct flights provided by Cape Air, Tradewinds Aviation, Seabourne Airlines & Air Sunshine. Other connection points include Antigua, St. Maarten and St. Kitts. For connections in St. Kitts, you have the option of taking a scenic ferry ride to Nevis using any of the ferry services listed (see Getting to Nevis by Sea). No reservation is required. You would need to take a quick taxi ride from the airport in St. Kitts to the ferry terminal. The cost of the ferry to Nevis differs according to the service used, but price ranges from US $8.00 to US $9.50 one way. No reservations are required for the ferry service.
